Privacy Policy

Placeholder content. Replace this page with the finalized policy reviewed by counsel before submitting the app for Meta App Review. Sections below cover the structure Meta expects.
1. Who we are
byteinfy DM ("we", "us") is operated by ByteInfy (insert legal entity, registered address, jurisdiction). Contact: support@byteinfy.com.
2. Data we collect
When you connect an Instagram Business account we receive: your IG username, account ID, profile picture URL, follower count, and an OAuth access token issued by Meta. When fans interact with your connected IG account we receive their IG username, IG user ID, and the text/payload of comments and direct messages you receive. We also collect your account email, password hash, billing details (via Razorpay) and audit logs of changes you make in the app.
3. How we use it
We use this data only to operate the automation features you configure: matching incoming events against your automations and sending the responses you authored, on the connected IG account. We do not use your or your fans' messages to train AI models. We do not sell data.
4. Storage and retention
Access tokens are encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM. Data is stored on Cloudflare D1 in the EU and US regions. Inbound messages older than 90 days are archived to encrypted object storage; you can request earlier deletion at any time.
5. Sharing
We share data with infrastructure subprocessors (Cloudflare for compute and storage, Razorpay for payments, Meta as the source/destination platform). We do not share your data with marketing partners or advertisers.
6. Your rights
You can disconnect any Instagram account, export your data, or delete your workspace from the in-app Settings page. To request deletion of data Meta has shared with us about you specifically, use our data deletion request page.
